I am a PhD candidate in the Ecology and Evolution program at Florida State University’s Department of Biological Science. My research focuses on the genetics of female resistance to male harm in Drosophila melanogaster.


I was raised in Plant City, Florida and became interested in biology because of my love of animals. I got my Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Science from Florida State University in December 2016, and I began the PhD program at FSU in August 2017. I enjoy hiking and birding.
